Yogatage Gastein: Atme die Berge 2017 // Review

Yogafrühling Gastein 2017 - Alpenhaus - Mona Shatry Photography

In its 4th year, the event Yogatage Gastein has turned into the „biggest yoga festival in the Alps“ and became one of the fixed dates in my annual yoga calendar, that I always look forward too. Not just (but for sure also) because I get to spend 10 days in some of the most luxurious hotels I’ve ever been to, but mainly due to the stunning surroundings, the majestic mountains and the lovely people I get to spend time with.

Teaching to varying groups of mixed levels, with new students arriving literally every day is a special challenge for any teacher, but also helps evolve your teaching skills to new levels everyone benefits from – including myself and my students at home.

Next to the ORF filming little sequences for their TV show „Yoga Magazin“ that I already had the chance to participate in in previous years, we also had a journalist from the German Morgenpost joining us this year. With a little help from myself and other great teachers, she did a little „self study“ in Outdoor Yoga which you can view here (text in German).

For the last weekend, my long time yoga student & photographer Mona Shatry joined me for a little shooting for Lealin (more to come soon!) to capture some of the fun in her wonderful pictures.

The next event is already scheduled for Fall – save the date & check back for more infos on schedule, bookings, etc. coming up soon!
